Privacy at KidsPlan

The short version

KidsPlan is a parent-managed family planning tool. Parents and guardians create accounts, add information for their children, and decide what belongs in each plan. Children do not create KidsPlan accounts.

Information we collect

When you create an account, KidsPlan receives your name, email address, and account identifier. If you use Google sign-in, we may also receive your Google profile image. Supabase processes account credentials and authentication sessions on KidsPlan's behalf; KidsPlan does not receive or store your password in its planner database.

You may also choose to provide a child's name, date of birth, photo, interests, routines, activities, rewards, task completion history, and reward timer progress. AI planning prompts and the suggestions returned to you may also be processed when you choose to use the AI feature.

How we use information

We use account and planner information to authenticate you, save and display your family's plans, generate exports, keep task and reward progress in sync, provide requested AI suggestions, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

If you use Google sign-in, KidsPlan does not request access to Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or email. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. KidsPlan's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

KidsPlan uses Supabase for authentication, database, and private photo storage; Vercel for application hosting; and OpenAI only when you request an AI planning suggestion. These providers process information on KidsPlan's behalf to operate the features you choose to use.

Children and parent control

KidsPlan is designed for a parent or guardian to configure and supervise. Please do not let a child create an account or submit personal information directly. Parents control the child profiles in their account and can update or delete that information.

Storage, security, and deletion

Planner records are protected by account-level access controls. Child photos are stored in private storage and displayed through time-limited links. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but KidsPlan is designed to limit access to the signed-in parent account.

You can delete a child profile or delete your KidsPlan account from the application. Account deletion removes the associated planner records and stored child photos, subject to limited backup, security, and legal retention needs.

Changes and questions

This policy may change as KidsPlan develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new update date. Privacy questions can be sent to the support contact listed on KidsPlan's sign-in screen.
